Choose your corner of Blueberry and make it yours for a while. Whether you’re settling into the Farmhouse, escaping to the Schoolhouse, or bringing everyone together across the entire property, there’s a stay here waiting to become your own.

There are easier ways to choose a name for a property. Blueberry Brook happens to have the blueberries to back it up.
Step outside during the right stretch of summer and one of Blueberry's most recognizable features comes alive: rows and rows of blueberry bushes stretching across the property.
Not a few decorative plants tucked beside a garden path. Hundreds of them.
Historical accounts describe the patch as containing more than 500 bushes and two different varieties, and blueberry picking remains one of the property's signature seasonal experiences.
For a few weeks each year, the rhythm of Blueberry changes. The berries ripen, buckets come out, people wander into the rows, and someone inevitably eats more than they put into the container. Hands turn a little purple, berries make their way back toward the house, and something growing quietly on the property becomes part of the memory of staying here.
That's what makes the blueberry patch so important to Blueberry. It isn't simply another amenity or a clever connection to the property's name.
It's part of the place itself.
There are parts of Blueberry that remain largely the same throughout the year. The antiques stay where they are. The Schoolhouse keeps standing. The old doors don't particularly care what month it is.
Outside, though, Blueberry is constantly changing.
Summer has its version. Fall has another. Winter strips everything back, and spring slowly puts it together again. Blueberry season is one of those brief windows when the property offers something it simply can't offer twelve months a year.
Generally arriving around July and August, the season ultimately follows the berries' own schedule. And maybe that's part of the charm. You wait, you watch, and when they're ready, you pick them.
For guests staying at Blueberry, that might mean walking outside in the morning and returning with berries for breakfast. Maybe they make it into the kitchen. Maybe they end up in something baked. Or maybe most of them disappear somewhere between the patch and the house.
There isn't really a wrong way to do it.

The patch is also only one part of a much larger landscape. Blueberry stretches across approximately 250 acres, with woods, trails, the brook, and plenty of room to wander beyond the rows.
So picking blueberries doesn't need to become the day's itinerary. Spend twenty minutes in the patch, follow a trail afterward, bring a handful back to the patio, or simply eat them as you walk.
That's something we love about the experiences that happen naturally at Blueberry. They don't always need a schedule or an elaborate plan. Sometimes they're simply there, waiting for you to notice them.
And blueberry picking may be the clearest example.
There's something wonderfully ordinary about picking fruit. No instructor, special equipment, or explanation required. Find a ripe berry. Pick it. Eat it. Repeat.
In a property filled with elaborate antiques, unusual furniture, artwork, history, and architectural details, the blueberry patch offers an interesting contrast.
Inside, Blueberry asks you to look closely. Outside, sometimes it simply asks you to taste what's growing.
And maybe that's why the patch deserves its own chapter in the story of this place.
Blueberry Brook isn't only the Farmhouse or the Schoolhouse. It isn't only the antiques, trails, brook, woods, gardens, or objects accumulated over time. It's all of those things existing together.
And for a short stretch every summer, it's also walking back toward the house with a handful of blueberries you picked yourself.
Some parts of Blueberry were built. Some were collected. And some simply grow here.
